Finally we left the state of Florida and entered the state of Alabama.
We drove past a final Florida State Park (Big Lagoon State Park) and passed the border to Alabama at Orange Beach, which reminded us of Miami Beach, just smaller. Via Gulf Shores and Foley we drove to Magnolia Springs, a small village with a beautiful road full of hanging old oak trees. We continued through farmers land with horses and cows to our next campground destination in the Mobile Bay in Alabama, where we have a beautiful sea side spot with views on Mobile.
After having enjoyed a nice dinner at home we will be strengthened to visit and explore the southern part of the state of Alabama.
