New Orleans, Louisiana

From Mobile, Alabama, we drove through the state of Mississippi to New Orleans, in the state of Louisiana. The city of Jazz music, funny people all over the place, drunken tourists in the French Quarter, ancient plantation houses in the garden district, skyscrapers in the business district, old streetcars running through the main Canal Street surrounded by palm trees, ghosts and voodoo and lots of history. And finally, a decent food & wine culture (after just none of that in Florida πŸ™‚ ).

New Orleans has sooo much to offer, that we extended our stay although the weather is just awful with cold temperatures, rain, clouds all day and even fog (we felt like at home πŸ˜‰ ). It’s also extremely photogenic.. so we’re sorry, but we will bother you with several NOLA (New Orleans Louisiana) blogs πŸ™‚
