From our base in Carmel, we were exploring the area of Monterey, Pacific Grove and Moss Landing.
We weren’t too fond of the city of Monterey, besides the Old Fisherman’s Wharf, which was sweet, but quite touristy.
Pacific Grove instead has a stunning shoreline with pure beauty. We were lucky to be here in Spring, as the flowers are amazing. The weather less.. There’s some wildlife such as birds, sea lions and there even were some deers on the neatly mowed Golf course of Pacific Grove.
Further North is Moss Landing, a very good spot to see Sea Otters and Seals.
Monterey’s Fisherman’s Wharf:
I do not know if I would trust into a boat rental company called ” sink or swim” 😂
Traveling with a pet means mostly eating outside, despite the weather condition
Pacific Grove:
That rock is called ” Bird Rock”, it was quickly clear why..
Moss Landing:
Three on the Roads travels again further North, this time along Highway 1, to San Francisco. See you there.
Great pics, again. We agree, Monterrey is not at all interesting–even Fisherman’s wharf. But you both found the areas we enjoy, as well.
