Carmel-by-the-Sea, California

From Paso Robles we drove further North, unfortunately not along the Highway 1, as its closed due to landslides, to Carmel-by the-Sea. What a beautiful little town. Very European, houses look like in England, France or Holland. Nice little restaurants and a white sanded beach (dog friendly) at the end of the town.

Of course we still wanted to see Hwy 1, so we drove from Carmel South and up again, down to Big Sur and the famous Bixby Bridge.
