Chokoloskee

After the Keys we drove back on the West (Gulf) coast of Florida to Chokoloskee, a small island in the Gulf of Mexico, bordering the Everglades National Park (and Everglades city) and the Ten Thousand Islands, which is merely known for fishing and kayaking. As we don’t fish and do not have a boat, we concentrated on relaxing in the beautiful campground, doing small excursions to Naples, kayaking and enjoying lots of time with our friends from Switzerland which visited us after the Keys here for the second time.

Our friend, although being an amateur like Sarah in the world of photography, is an unbeaten photographer. She makes pictures we can just dream of, why we put besides ours some of hers here for you to enjoy.

On the way back from the Keys..

Back on the RV park, we got again a visitor from Switzerland, an ex work colleague of Sarah who travels through Florida for work purpose and made a short stopover to meet us and indulge RV life at Chokoloskee.
