Morro Bay, California

From our base in Paso Robles, we drove for a one day excursion to the coast to see the area of Morro Bay and Montana de Oro at the Central Coast of California. It’s always awesome to see the sea again.. the smell, the atmosphere.. ahh..

As usual, again through the fog in the morning we drove first to Montana de Oro and Eyra enjoyed some swimming at the dog friendly beach of the State Park. Completely surprising, we saw quite some wildlife there.. besides a deer running over the street, we saw for the first time a snake! And a peacock.

Then we went further to Morro Bay. A lovely town by the sea. And again lots of wildlife.. Sea Otters and Seals! Amazing..

Three on the Road heads further North within California (beating the cold temperatures) and is looking forward to get to know Monterey and Carmel-by-the-Sea.

  1. Never been to Moro Bay, but the pics look very interesting as do the wild life–and I don’t mean the night life.
