Finally we could pick up our RV trailer. Besides some minor scratches from the storm Irma and some typical “new home issues”, the trailer is a nearly perfect pick.
The last days were quite stressful. Getting everything ready to be able to live in the trailer takes much more time as expected.
To be able to get a US phone seems to be a nightmare: ID verification failed by showing Swiss passport (needs to be a passport issued by the United States.. ähm), showing US permanent resident card (green card), social security card etc. It would need a utility bill to prove we really exist!
And to make it a bit more complicated to start, Sarah got an allergy against some wooden parts in the trailer and in addition she got a cold.
So.. we and you will need some more time to start rolling..

ja, diese Bürokratie, ich dachte allerdings, dass eine Social Security Number alles vereinfacht… dafür geht’s dem Hündchen gut… ich hoffe, es beeinträchtigt Eure Reise nicht (das Holz, wenn das denn echtes Holz ist..)…die Erkältung geht sicher weg…

Offenbar nicht.. es ist Pressholz unter dem Bett wo ich offenbar allergisch drauf reagiere. Aber das kommt schon.. wir streichen das porendicht, dann ist fertig mit allergischer Ausdünstung
